Pete Christy’s Lunch Church is coming to Plainview and Wayland Baptist University on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
And Wayland’s athletic director and volleyball coach, Jim Giacomazzi, will be the featured speaker.
“Feed your appetite, nourish your soul. Come join us for food, fellowship, faith, and fun,” said Christy who has hosted more than 100 Lunch Church events in Lubbock and the surrounding area since starting them in January 2018. “We hope to bless everyone who comes out.”
Christy, who doesn’t mind sharing his faith through his Lunch Church events, encourages participants to come to McClung University Center early — 11:30 to 11:45 — to go through the first-floor café line. Meals are $10.
“We will meet upstairs in the conference room (UC-211),” Christy said. “Come early to fellowship. The program will begin at 12:10 p.m.”
