PLAINVIEW, TX — Wayland Baptist University announces a special Blue & Gold Alumni Social in Lubbock hosted by Dr. Donna Hedgepath, the university’s new President.
The social is slated for 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, Oct. 4, at Harrigan’s Prime Grill, located at 11814 Indiana Ave. No. 3, Lubbock. It will be an evening of fellowship, reconnection, and celebration of the Pioneer spirit that unites Wayland alumni and friends. Guests will enjoy a delicious meal and hear updates about the university’s latest developments and initiatives.
“I am eager to meet our alumni and share my vision for Wayland’s future,” said Dr. Hedgepath. “It’s a great opportunity to reconnect, celebrate our shared experiences, and hear your thoughts.”
Dr. Sarah Hartman, Dean of the Don A. Williams School of Education, will be the guest speaker for the evening, and Jeffrey Vera, Director of Alumni Relations, will provide important updates on upcoming events, athletic activities, and ways alumni can stay connected to the Wayland family.
The social provides an opportunity to meet fellow alumni, both new and old, and network with Wayland graduates in the area.
