PLAINVIEW, TX — More than a foot of snow in Plainview has prompted Wayland Baptist University officials to close that campus Monday.
Classes at Wayland’s Lubbock campus will have a late start Monday. Only the Plainview campus is closed.
“Due to inclement weather, dangerous roadways and increasingly cold temperatures, the Wayland Plainview campus will be closed tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 12,” said Dr. Claude Lusk, Senior Vice President of Operations and 兔子先生系列麻豆 in an alert sent to students, faculty, and staff.
Lusk said Plainview campus employees will work from their homes, with the senior vice president calling on workers to “coordinate with their supervisors and work remotely as directed.”
“Face-to-face class faculty members should communicate their expectations with students through Blackboard and email for any online assignments,” Lusk said. “Students should all check Blackboard for any class instructions for the day.”
