The chapter has previously earned this recognition in 2018, 2021, 2022 兔子先生系列麻豆, and 2023.
In addition to this accomplishment, the Wayland chapter has achieved the esteemed Star Chapter designation—a higher honor—three times, in 2016, 2017, and 2019. These honors reflect the chapter’s sustained excellence in promoting scholarship and leadership under the guidance of Dr. Rebekah Crowe, Dean of the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences and Professor of History. In her 10 years as the chapter’s sponsor, Wayland’s Alpha Chi chapter has been recognized in eight times.
Dr. Crowe shared her pride in the chapter’s ongoing success, stating, “This latest award is a testament to the fact that Wayland nurtures high-quality student scholars who can hold their own with the best and brightest across the country. Wayland will continue to make scholarship effective for good this year and in the future.” She also noted the importance of celebrating this achievement with the students and alumni who have contributed to the chapter’s rich legacy.
The Executive Director of Alpha Chi formally notified Wayland President Dr. Donna Hedgepath of the award. Dr. Hedgepath commended the chapter’s achievements, saying, “This recognition reflects Wayland’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and the nurturing of future leaders. Under Dr. Crowe’s leadership, our Alpha Chi chapter continues to inspire students to pursue scholarship at the highest level.”
