Wayland Singers
Wayland Singers Chorus is a non-audition mixed choir representing students from across campus. WSC performs genres from all Western European time periods and styles such as vocal jazz, music theater, gospel, pop, contemporary Christian, and advanced 21st Century choral repertoire compositions. Rehearsing two times (Monday and Tuesday, 1:45-3pm) each week, WSC presents fall, Christmas, Spring, and Solo and Ensemble concerts in Harral Auditorium, the university’s main concert hall.
In addition, WSC sings in area churches, mission facilities, and often combines with the International Choir to perform choral major works with a local orchestra. Dr. Hyung Chae, Director of Church Music and a former director of International Choir, is directing Wayland Singers Chorus.
