About Us
Discover one of the leading Christian colleges in Texas. Wayland Baptist University provides students an opportunity to study and learn in a Christian environment. One of the most competitively priced universities in the area, WBU welcomes new students of all ages and backgrounds, including working adults, military service members, and retired veterans.
Class schedules are made to fit busy life and work schedules; courses are split into five 8-week sessions annually. Students are welcome to take classes on campus or online; face-to-face classes meet just one night a week, allowing students more time to continue their daily lives.
Campus History
Wayland Baptist University - San Antonio has been serving the higher educational needs of San Antonio and South Texas since 1984 as part of Wayland's non-traditional degree programs. With a focus on the adult learner and a commitment to the University's mission of educating students in an academically challenging and distinctively Christian environment, Wayland will help you Rewrite Your Future .
Location
The main campus is conveniently located at 8300 Pat Booker Road in Live Oak. It is easily accessible from the major road networks and is close to Fort Sam Houston, Randolph Air Force Base, and major industrial complexes. There are seven other teaching sites throughout the greater San Antonio area, and two in the Rio Grande Valley. The San Antonio campus meets the needs of military students by providing classes and academic advising at JBSA locations Lackland, Fort Sam Houston, and Randolph.
