Apply for Financial Aid
Steps to Apply for Financial Aid
We encourage you to apply for financial aid, regardless of whether you think you will qualify. Here is how to navigate the process:
- Apply for admission to Wayland Baptist University (WBU). Merit-based scholarships are offered through the WBU admissions process.
- Complete the (FAFSA) to be considered for federal, state, and institutional financial aid. The school code for WBU is 003663. You will need to provide information about your income and assets.
- Check your email regularly. The Office of Financial Aid will communicate with you by email regarding any additional information required and the availability of your Financial Aid Notification.
- Register for access to (click on "First Time User") to view requirements, financial aid eligibility, and accept/decline financial aid.
- Complete the WBU Scholarship Application (available May 1, 2024 for 2024-25 academic year Plainview students) to be considered for several hundred need-based institutional scholarships.
- Complete the (external campus, WBUOnline, and all graduate students to ensure we know your enrollment plans.
