About Us
Discover one of the leading Christian colleges in Texas. Wayland Baptist University provides students an opportunity to study and learn in a Christian environment. One of the most competitively priced Christian universities in the Wichita Falls area, WBU welcomes new students of all ages and backgrounds, including working adults, military service members, and retired veterans.
Class schedules are made to fit busy life and work schedules; courses are delivered across five, 8 -week sessions per year. Students are welcome to take classes on campus or online; face-to-face classes meet just one night a week, allowing students more time to continue their daily lives.
Campus History
Wayland Baptist University - Wichita Falls was established in 1974 at Sheppard Air Force Base. Wayland opened a location in the Call Field Shopping Center in November of 2002.
