Caprock Hall
- Open to incoming students and all returning students, Caprock is the perfect place to experience dorm living. With four-person suites and furnished rooms, students are well-equipped for a comfortable semester.
- $1,415.00 for a 16-week semester
- 4-student suite
- Shares a bathroom and living area
- Each room has 2 beds (extra long twin mattresses), 2 dressers, 2 closets, and 2 desks with chairs.
- Recently renovated lobby with new sofas, chairs, tables, gaming stations, ping pong tables, and more on the main floor and in the basement.
- Laundry is available next to the main floor lobby.

Jimmy Dean Hall
- Our newest dorm on campus, Jimmy Dean offers state-of-the-art accommodations and comforts. Enjoy downtime in double rooms.
- $2,053.00 for a 16-week semester
- Each room has 2 beds (extra long twin mattresses), 2 dressers, 2 closets, and 2 desks with chairs.
- Bathrooms are en-suite for each room.
- Laundry is available on each of the 3 floors on the Northeast corner of the building.
- Not open for summer living.

Residence Hall Amenities:
- Laundry is provided in each building. Since fall 2023, laundry is app-based so you will not need quarters. Residents will pay a $50 fee for each 16-week term for 3 loads per week for a total of 48 loads. The prepaid loads are a wash and a dry. If you need more loads, you pay through the app. Each extra cycle is $1.50.
- Each room comes with wireless Internet, as well as Internet hookups.
- Drink and snack machines are located in each residence hall.
- *Alcohol, tobacco, and firearms are prohibited in the dorms.
Private Rooms
Room Assignment and Private Room Policy
Roommates are assigned to residents based on responses provided in the Housing Application. Private rooms may be offered based on availability, but they are not guaranteed. Residents assigned to a private room—whether by request or due to the absence of a roommate—will incur an additional charge per 16-week term, as assessed on Census Day.
Please note that private room assignments are not guaranteed from one term to the next. Wayland reserves the right to assign or reassign roommates at any time without prior notice, as outlined in the Occupancy License Agreement included in the Housing Application.
